We found the perception of vegetable growers regarding the usage of sewerage water to meet irrigation applications. The study was quantitative in nature. It was conducted in peri-urban areas of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. A sample of 360 vegetable growers (180 registered vegetable growers and 180 non-registered vegetable growers) were interviewed. Data were analyzed by Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Two parts were created from the results that were received. The demographic characteristics were listed in the first section. The respondents' perceptions of how sewage water is used and its negative impacts are covered in the second section. The age, education, land size, and sources of income of vegetable growers were determined using descriptive statistical analysis. To achieve the study's goal, the respondents were ranked based on mean value and score. According to the results, only 14.4% of registered growers and 17.2% of non-registered growers, respectively, were between the ages of 61 and 70. Compared to non-registered gardeners, registered vegetable growers have better knowledge. The study concluded with recommendations for furthering training needs assessments of vegetable growers and convincing them to disregard the idea that sewage water usage is appropriate for irrigation.
