Peer Review Policy

Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology Research utilizes an advanced online submission, review, and tracking system to ensure manuscript quality while expediting the editorial and peer-review process. The journal aims to complete the initial review within approximately 4–6 weeks, followed by the timely publication of accepted articles.

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology Research undergo a rigorous peer-review process and must meet high scientific and ethical standards. Submissions should demonstrate a clear potential to contribute meaningfully to the fields of food science, agricultural innovation, and applied technologies. While contributions may be incremental, they must provide scientifically sound and relevant insights that advance current knowledge and practices.

Following an initial technical screening, manuscripts are forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief, who evaluates their scope, originality, and scientific merit before assigning them for peer review. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent subject experts through a single-blind review process. The corresponding author is promptly notified of the editorial decision via email. Manuscripts that are not accepted at this stage may be encouraged for resubmission after substantial revision.

Authors submitting revised manuscripts are required to provide a point-by-point response to reviewers’ comments, clearly indicating the changes made. Revised submissions may be reassessed by the original reviewers or by new referees, as deemed appropriate by the editorial board.

Once all editorial and scientific concerns have been satisfactorily addressed, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication. After acceptance, authors receive page proofs for final verification, during which only minor typographical or formatting corrections are permitted. All corrections are subject to approval by the production team. The journal reserves the right to make final decisions regarding stylistic consistency, figure quality, and layout.
